Small hard drive problem

So i have this tiny little samsung hard drive (20GB).

While it was on i was going to put it in a slot, i squezed it a little too hard trying to put it in and the top part of the hard drive touched the spinning part for a second and i heard that noise of moving against non moving objection.

is that drive ruined now? did it like scratch it so its toast?
 
wat if it happens to be an xbox 360 hard drive and i cant run scandisk on it?

any other way to tell?
