I've surfed this site for over a year and it's helped me a lot. Now I'm stumped and I need help.
First some information about my computer. I bought it 3-4 years ago from dell. It's a dell xps 410 model dxp601.
cpu - IntelCore 2 6400 @ 2.13GHz
video card - Geforce 7300 LE
hard drive(which is failing) - samsung sp2504c (250gb)
memory - 1gig
My computer shows a smart error; "a hard drive in the system reports that it may fail." I've had more than several blue screen crashes.
Anyways, I want to replace the motherboard, hard drive, and add ram. I would like the new parts to be in line with the rest of the computer. Meaning, I would not want a $250 motherboard when the rest of my comp sucks, though I also do not want to downgrade. I have looked up newegg and found that I can purchase all 3 for $150-200.
Only requirment is atleast 250g for the hard drive. Anyhow, please help me find motherboard, hd, and ram that would be compatible.

But my computer is dying on me. I've found these parts that I want to purchase. I don't know for sure if they are compatible with each other and also with the rest of my computer.
