Smart Media Adapter?

I have a old Fuji camera that runs on Smart Media cards, and I really like it, except I'm getting annoyed that the largest size memory card I can get is 128 Mb. I've seen Xd to SM adapters around, and I was wondering if those would work in my camera, if my camera would recognize it.

Most cameras that use smart media wont recognize anything bigger than 64/128mb(depending on when it was manufactured and the firmware version).
