Smashing an IPAD

I always thought those "smashing brand new _____" videos were stupid. Especially an iPad. Theres not much to it so there theres not parts and computer chips falling out (like the smashed PS3 video). At least there was an argument that those looked cool when they got smashed (although thats a stretch). iPad cant even fall apart.

They claim they do it because they hate apple yet they're all filming it with iPhones...
 
They don't even know how to use the bloody bat... I mean if they did some decent swings and made it shatter into bits like a window it coulda been decent, but that was just weak, looked like a 3-yo trying to be cool by hitting a frying pan with a softball bat.
 
its ok his daddy will buy him another one. you can hear in the video about someone showing their dad what happened to his brand new ipad.
 
Maybe they are technophobes and are just scared of technology. I actually know a few people that are scared of technology. When I remind them that their A/C in their house is technology though, they tend to forget about those types of things.
 
The guy in the hoody swings like a girl :P Ya... No where near as 'entertaining' (if you want to call it that) since it really didn't go into pieces. They should have mounted it so that someone could take a full swing and bent it in half or eventually break through.
 
@tlarkin no offense but things like that are just in ppl's heads. and are probably looking for some kind of attention. i know a couple of ppl like that.
 
at least the willitblend dude makes money from his ipad destruction.

The Ipad looks a pain in the @ss to open at the start,id be too scared of cracking the screen :P
 
Just ran into a CNN video of that guy. He apparently "loves apple" and had an iPad he didnt smash. So no, he was not even trying to make a point, just some idiot trying to get attention on the internet. The part that makes me mad is that people gave him the attention.


I messed around with yesterday and I was impressed. I was hating before they came out but now if they weren't so expensive and I was a wealthy older man, I would probably buy one (or wait for the HP Slate).
