Snap Server 2200 Install

It's been a while since I've post here, but I have something to ask.

My dad brought me home an old snap server 2200 from his work. The thing is, it only was the server itself, and a power cord. I have it plugged in and all, but I have no software to mess with it on. And I really don't know how to make it appear on my computer.

Anyone know how to do these things? Maybe some software downloads since I don't have the CD. The more in depth the better... I'm talking step by step.

Thanks guys.

snap servers are meant to be make shift rack mount file servers, at least the one we have in our central office seems that way. You should just need to plug it into your network and browse for it on your network browser in windows. It should pull an ip via dhcp and show up as a share.

At least that is how ours is set up.

To configure it you can use a web browser, try typing http://snap2200 in your web browser and see if it pulls it up after you hook it up
