So blue

I am planning on getting a new computer very soon, my boyfriend and his computer repairing friend are going to help me as I am not the biggest buff on computer hardware. My boyfriend got http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811144108 for his case. And I looked around a bit and I don't want to get a case that looks like his, but most cases seem to be hooked on the blue LEDs. And the ones that aren't blue are just disturbing. (Ex: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156187 )

I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for an awesome case that is either red/green or any other interesting color that isn't just the basic blue LEDs.

Gee aren't those Blue led lit fans wonderful? There's is one solution if you want adequate air circulation to keep system temps down. Antec offers red or multicolored cases in both 80mm and 120mm sizes as well as the more or less clear type. Those are off white in color without any led light seen. Even with the models seen with blue led fans you can easily swap those for the same size different color fan. For other colors you can add neon strips to illuminate the inside of the case if you choose one with a windowed side cover.

You could always get a simple looking case like the centurion 5

You wouldn't want to catch a sale like one seen elsewhere on the Antec Nine Hundred model? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021

Despite the twin 120mm blue led front intake fans I can easily swap one or both for a red or multicolor. The price tag is the drawback there for most people however more then the fan color. What is the max price you have in mind there? For a total lack of good air flow you can look at a green Apevia model with a top 80mm and another 80mm on the side cover. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811144022

Thanks for the welcome, by the way! I have a feeling I will probably be coming here rather often for little computer tid-bits.

Thanks for the information also. Replacing the fans didn't occur to me [insert ditzy face here]. I will definatly research with a little more open mind to the cases.

There are plenty of cases to go around if you shop through newegg, mwave.com. TigerDirect, xoxide.com(great for selections there at http://www.xoxide.com/pccases.html ), and other places online.

I could have referred to having seen what I thought was green led fans at one time while in a retail store. But where I could grab fans, cables, supplies, and other items over the counter they started cutting all that out for laptops, dvd players, digital cameras, and Windows retail only for the softwares. That would be a place like Circuit City there. They stock usb type external drives now while one round ide cable sits alone.
