Ok, so I decided to go ahead and trade out my 3870X2 for a 4870... Ho...ly... shit... I expected a slight performance decrease or at MOST, the same. Not only did my stuttering problem stop, but I can now play Crysis with everything maxed out (at 1440X900 res.), and it runs like a DREAM!!! No lag what-so-ever! Man... I can't WAIT for the 4870X2 to come out. I am DEFINITELY getting one.
