.. with thanks to all the guys in my last thread, I'm going Conroe style! E6600 looks to be a large improvement over the E6400 and looks worth it so I'll go for it.
The question is, what motherboard!? Here are the specs I need //
Intel Core2Duo E6600 Support (duh)
2 PCI-Express x16 Slots in SLi or Crossfire
2+ SATA Ports
1+ IDE Port
2 PCI Slots
4 RAM Slots - DDR2 @ 667 / 800 (ideally both) Dual Channel Support
Firewire is a must, back i/o only.
Thanks a lot! I've been looking at the DFI Infinity (always been a fan of DFI) and it looks very promising, but perhaps you guys could come up with some better solutions
