What can i do to make sure i dont have to format my computer again.
On october 21st 06 , my first lan.
i had a sata 250gb hdd had it hooked up wrong. with like all three ports filled.
the thin black one, the sata*red cable*, then psu wire.
i now currently have in, in a new computer, psu and sata*its yellow this time*.
plugged into my new harddrive.
when i hooked to the server of the lan, i tried getting on css and doesnt respond messages appeared, and i couldnt boot, plus we had like three power outs.
i kept re-booting, but i had to format.
what do i have to do to assure this wont happen?
thanks
