And as I have posted before in the past, this will be my first build. Now whether I will have enough time to put this thing together tonight, tomorrow, or even this weekend, I have no idea, but I was wondering if anybody had any
little tips or hints, or some sort of advice before I take the plunge. Here is my setup:
CPU- Intel Q6600 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115017
Mobo- EVGA A1 680i http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16813188013
GPU- EVGA 8800 GTX http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16814130072
RAM- OCZ Reaper ddr2 800 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227231
PSU- Silverstone Olympia 750w http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16817256016
HDD- WD 250gb (No raptor for me..yet...) http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16822144701
DVD- LITE on 20x http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16827106055
CPU Cooler- Tuniq Tower http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835154001
Case- Thermaltake Armor Full Tower http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16811133154
And I bought some Arctic Silver.

If you have any tips for any of these products, it would be greatly appreciated. If there are any problems I could avoid, would be awesome. :p

Thanks!

On the hard drive only use 1 of the 2 power connectors (S-ATA or the legacy MOLEX) otherwise your drive will probably die.

No idea why, but you shouldn't. I think it's to do with the fact that S-ATA and MOLEX connectors are independent and will both supply current.

Yup, it's a good feature. It means if you have a modular power supply like I do then you can remove the redundant S-ATA wire and improve the internal airflow.
