the bosses have internet access but tell me NOONE has it and they are doing the old bold faced lie BS to me

I want to crack the password that comes up when i try to access the internet

its on a network and its cable ..i think

its a simple user name and password deal

I can probably figure outa username so i just need a password generator that can figure this crap out for me

the password doesnt get locked if you put the wrong one in too many times
so i can let this thing have at it all damn day if i like
where can i find something like this?

well your chances are to try a brute force attack, so search the internet for a program like this but i don't think u'll find a free one.

I know of a brute forcer but come on man do you really want to resort to something illegal? You are aware Brute Forceing is illegal right?

Ok we all know this is a known password by the admins/managers.. So if it is so well known it must be somthing easy to remember. Try a few things that it could be..

pw hints:
"Company name" Also try with first letter in caps
password
passw0rd (with a zero)
internet
admin
I would give the password less than 8 charectars, and somehow relating to your idustry. Also stear clear of the brute force thingy, as the administrators probably montior that stuff. Meaning your ip showing trying to login 5000 times will open some eyes. You can also try peeping over shoulders ;)

Yeah but easy-to-remember is subjective :P Like for instance K2Kb2BDbGVHdMQ8kP686D8t7X
K220Kb942B58Db85GV79Hd41MQ278k66P672863D85t71X2 is surprisingly simple to remember once you know the generation cycle (actually three of them stacked :P)

WTF!!!!!!!!

heehee :P when you install stuff enough times you start to see patterns ... or when you process lots of student numbers or stuff like that ... so for instance take the following:
- ApplicationX Serial number: 123456789
- ApplicationY Serial number: 976431258
- ApplicationZ Serial Code: qwertyuiopasdfghjkl
- Random Number 1: 3
- Random Number 2: 5

Step 1: Write one of the serials out:
Output = 976431258

Step 2: Embed the second serial at random interval 2
Output = kw9pful764tga3ieqh1s2yoj58dr

Step 2: Embed the third serial at random interval 1
Output = kw9pful7694t8ga73i6eq5h14s23yo2j518dr

And poof, no need to remember a funky long serial :P Granted i chose easy examples but you get the idea

Is it really worth taking a risk that might lead to you loosing your job? Boses have that tiltle for a reason ;). Anyhow not trying to start anything but felt it needed to be said.

Haha in step 2, from the left i pressed the right arrow 5 times, and inserted a character (wrapping around at the end); for step 3, i started from the left and did the same :P

LOL its not all that complicated to derive but brute forcing it will be a biatch simply due to the size of it. Throw in a few symbols and yer set :)

Laws are dependent on locality. And you're quite allowed to brute force a password that isnt yours -- you just need permission.

Fair nuff (although i think people who specialize in data recovery and retrieval would dissagree... i dont know the laws specifically so i wont comment).... its just not everyone is from the UK :)

Well no. Peoples whose jobs it is too recover lsot passwords and thigns like that it is legal but for someone in a job who wants to get a admins internet password thats illegal because of the data Protection act

lol, my mate who lives over the road from me brute forced this girls email account, and when she found out, he got ****ed by the police, ish. he got a warning which isnt a very good thig, providing he was about 13 at the time

Lol never good to start hacking at such a young age is it? lol I got done for hacking once even though I was brute forcing my own password. It was from a mates computer and I forgot my P/W so I brute forced it then the server realised the IP wasn;t the same as the registered IP so the polic cam round and then gave me a warning but once I explained both the police and website were embrassresed (cant spell that, cant spell much lol)
