OK, I'm building a new rig as almost everyone on this site :)
AMD X2 4400
2 X evga 7900GT Suprclocked

This will b purely gaming machine, and I'm a listtle confused with which board to go with. Here are my choices so far
ASUS A8N32-SLI Deluxe

ASUS A8N-SLI Premium

I didn't bother looking for DFI Lanparty since everyone is saying that it's a b*tch for first time builders, right ?

if you have the dough to get 2 7900's then get the best and most expensive board you can to complement them!

DFI a bitch? No way. I've been using DFI boards for like three or more years now and haven't had a single problem with any of them. I find them to be rock solid and stable. My current board is the NF4 UT Expert board and everybody I talked to said don't get that board, it's trouble. I got it and set it up very easily without a hitch. I freakin love it!

DFI is awesome and don't ever let anyone tell you they're junk. DFIs can at times be finicky about the hardware you use with them but for me, i've never had a single problem.

well i didn't mean they'r bad. what I ment was that they'r hard to install for first time builders, like me. ppl say they'r very good board but if i'm first time builder I should rather go with Asus

well, my first and all of my current builds are all DFIs as I said before. Every board i've used I put together like any other machine and they usually fire up and run stable from day one so, I don't see why anybody would say don't use them for your first build.

ASUS is a good board too don't get me wrong. If your not going to overclock at all and just want a good board with a ton of features, ASUS is a good choice. They do overclock good too but, DFI usually does better when overclocking.

Yeah, I'm not gonna overclock for sure. Everything is gonna stay as it is. I had computers for 8 years and never even thought about overclocking.

The A8N32-SLI Deluxe allows for two video cards in SLI to both use PCI-E x16, whereas the A8N-SLI Premium splits off the bandwidth, providing x8 to each card. If you're going to be spending that much on the graphics cards, i'd also spend the extra money on the A8N32-SLI Deluxe.

I just got a new gaming setup, with amd X2 4800+ and 7800GTX 512Mb, and the A8N32-DLX... great motherboard! get it! (especially if ur spending that much already)
