So whos camping out for Halo 3?

Alright, bought the Limited Edition of Halo 3 today and I am VERY disappointed in the game. Bungie did almost NO WORK at all to the gameplay or anything.

Halo 3 is pretty much Halo 2 with more HDR.... waste of my time and money. Almost no new gameplay elements are introduced, multiplayer is the same.....

Over-hyped....

I personally like the game.
New effects are nice.
Your entitled to your opinion, but I can kind of see what you mean.

But to me, I like the game.

funny.. when Halo 2 was released, I hoped they would have just used the Halo engine, and put new levels/weapons/vehicles in it. they made the gameplay better than I thought. and well, even if the gameplay is the same, I dont mind, because Halo 2 had a brilliant gameplay.

just a question, but did you want to be in the game? how could thay actually improve the gameplay of halo 2? I mean, the multiplayer has gotten better, and the brutes in singleplayer are now something you have to worry about at some point (at least, thats what I've heard. ^^ ) In a bit over 3 hours from now i can make a statement of my own about the gameplay ofcourse. but I'm actually glad to hear that they didnt change the gameplay (too much)

but what did it for me so far with the halo games was the brilliant combination of the music, and the gameplay during the whole game. even the cut-scenes I never skip, because I like watching them. there is only very few games were I find the music and the game to match perfectly.
those would be Halo and Homeworld :)

I was hoping for a new, interesting storyline, some puzzles, interesting level design, imaginative new weapons, new enemies, new locations (fighting on Earth in a SCI-FI game is BORING AS HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LET US FIGHT ON OTHER PLANETS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!)

Overall I give the game like a 6 out of 10. My biggest disappointment of the year by far.

interesting storyline - check ;)
some puzzles - ok, that isnt there, but at some points it took me time t figure out where to go
interesting level design - check
imaginative new weapons- check
new enemies - well, youre fighting the covenant still, but the changed brute's are nice
new locations - check ;) (the Arc for example "installation 00" ^^ )

really.. complete the game before you call it a disappointment :) I mean, halo 2 ended on earth, so it would be kinda odd if it didnt continue there with the storyline. trust me, the game is good :) at least, what i've played so far, was pretty nice (and yes, the first lvl wasnt too great)

I saw a thing about Halo 3 last night on Space. They had some hack talking about why it was so great and his main point was in multiplayer you could be a female master chief  I never liked halo, and people camping out for it, or any other game or harry potter book are silly :P

Ya it might be good toward the end, but I'm on the 6th level and I'm still bored.... there's no excuse for that.

What about the MP and 4 player Co-op? they have been way more popular than the SP mode in Halo 2. Oh and are you playing the game on legendary? or at least heroic? I can't enjoy any halo game (or any FPS to be fair) without playing on the hardest mode. Mmm-mm-mm, challenging. :D
