im looking to replace my board for mulitiple reasons its a socket 478 motherboard.

This is all the stuff i want in it...

Form Factor: matx 9.6"x8.6"
HT technology
478 socket
FSB: 800 & 533
IDE HDD
2-4 RAM slots (184 pin) {2 gig dual channel set-up really would be great)
Agp 8x or PCI-E slot?
On-board sound

Anyone know where i could find a motherboard that meets all this?

I really appreciate your help, althoug i m really looking for help to find a board that meets exactly what ive asked. I am fimilar with newegg etc i know what they have to offer and although that board does seem to fit i really dont want to have to get 2 gigs of new RAM etc.

Does anyone know of a board out there that meets what i need???

You got me excited for a second there "kof", till i realized its not the correct "form factor". Although i do greatly appreciate your help!

does a board like this not exist? Someone has to know where i can find one!

Help me find one please B)

"Kof", the first one from newegg the biostar...looks ok to me but its has different dimensions...and the 2nd option well im not sure where to start it worse then my current board...it has a fsb of 400mhz, and only has PCI slots haha

So this leads me to my next question since i cant seem to find what i need, if the dimensions are smaller then 9.6 x 8.6 will it work???

or how bout this one i found slightly larger...
http://www.asus.com/products4.aspx?modelmenu=2&model=199&l1=3&l2=12&l3=42&l4=0

its 9.6" x 9.6" will that work??? (1 inch bigger)

Just a question for you lion, why are you wanting to buy old technology? I don't mean as an attack towards you but I'm curious. Perhaps the reason why you are having such trouble finding the board you want is because the technology is so old and developers have forgotten about it. Hope I didn't offend :)

yeah if the bored says mATX it'll fit regardless of dimension really, does your case only support mATX or will it fit a bigger board in it? like is there space around the mobo in the case?

I actually have that same Biostar board in my current system (almost done building my new one) and it works very nice, no problems at all....even comes with a warpspeeder utility that allow you to overclock without having to go into the bios

Yea there is some space im my case, but not much. Here is a pic for the motherboard pro's to help me with my decision.

Bradan, of course it should, the 3 advantages will be...

800 fsb
agp 8x slot over pci
overclockable board
