Socket AM2 motherboard with 2 ide connectors?!

Do they exist? I've only found one so far, the msi board with the quadro chipset.

I'm looking for a board that has an am2 socket for a 6400+ windsor, that can take ddr2 800mhz ram and my 8600gt pcie.

I was going to get the msi one but I've steered myself away due to its more business purpose rather than gaming purpose.
 
There's still several models seeing two ide channels. When looking for boards with more then two pci slots I actually had to choose an Asus board seeing only one ide channel for 3 pci and 6 sata ports. Sata is the trend at this time anyways. You can also get into some new large capacity sata drives for business purposes(storage, backup).

The Asus M2N-E SLI model sees two ide channels and 4 sata ports but only two pci slots while the M2N-E model run here sees 3 pci slots, 6 sata ports, and only one ide channel seeing one optical and one ide drive with Vista on it plus two sata models with XP on one of those. I won't go by the 8gb max for memory when making the selection. For the most part the current chipsets seen on board were designed for seeing 2-4gb and lack support for anything over the 4gb limit. Some good articles points out how 7gb will be seen with 8gb installed for that reason.

Micro atx boards often are limited on features with the exception of the few seen by different companies. Other then that MSI is one of the better brands to be looking at.

Well I'm only going to be using 2 gb of ram for this build. Other than that though, would you say it's fine for gaming with my 6400+ and 8600 gs?
(I know the 8600 isnt top of the line but it's what I have)
 
For the price range you could easily go for a full sized atx model by Asus, Gigabyte, Abit, DFI, and a few others just to see two ide channels. I suspect that is from wanting to use ide drives you already have with a new board and not wanting to spend on new ones at this time there.

I moved one of two ide drives as well as a pair of sata models out of the last case here. Now that WD now sees a 1tb sized sata GP series drive available that will see the single remaining ide hard drive gone unless used for a few things like Linux or Solaris there.
