Software Anti-aliasing

If we have all these powerful processors and the video cards can't handle the stress of Anti-aliasing, why can't software be made to use the processor to anti-alias? Is there such a program released?

Not sure what you mean, any of the new video cards can play games maxed out with maxed out AA.

The processor does the physics, so there is alot of strain already on the cpu during games.

So you couldn't put the load of AA on the processor and expect it to do anything better? I guess it would be worse if the processor is busy.

But that will change when PPU's can be seen more on the market.

Dell and Alienware should have 'em in certain rigs already, atleast Alienware has. Not too sure about Dell but I think they have 'em too.

I read about PPUs but can you get a PCMCIA PPU for a notebook computer?
i doubt it, since its more like a video card or processor than a network card.
