Navigate here and see if this file exists

c:\Windows\System32\MPK\unins000.exe

If it does, click on that file and see if it uninstalls.

Or if you wouldn't mind I can access your system remotely by using a program called teamviewer to remove it manually.

Hi John, the file:
c:\Windows\System32\MPK\unins000.exe
does not exist.

I would really appreciate if you could log on to my pc to remove the threat yourself.

Thanks a lot...

Some recent actvities from my computer:
Today I downloaded Spybot - Search & Destroy. The first Spybot scan removed 181 entries of KGBKeylogger. The second scan (after restart) showed no malware / spyware at all. After that I restarted and scanned using malware bytes and to my relief it showed no threats.
I believe that the three threats that showed before Spybot scan no longer reside in my pc now.

Thanks a lot for all the replies as it was only through these discussions that I decided of using Spybot - Search & Destroy.

Thanks John for the offer of manually removing the threats from my pc.

I'm surprised that spybot actually removed that as it is old and outdated these days. Spybot used to be good back about 4 or 5 years ago. However I'm glad that it finally seems to be gone. If however you still find remnants of it, please don't hesitate to ask for assistance.
