Software To Change MPEG Brightness?

hey i got a few videos that are kind of dark and i would like to brighten them up and save them like that does anyone know a free or a program available somewhere online to download with a crack that isnt too difficult to use and doesnt take to long to get done

Hmm Media Player Classic is freeware and has that option.

when i open my file in media player classic i just get audio no video

And this is a MPEG? Weird... Do you get any errors or anything? What type of MPEG? 1 or 2?

hhhmmmm ... downloaded videos, kinda dark, I think they just call the screeners.

I use Power DVD for just about everything and it's got all the brightness, contrast, and color settings in it.

yea but does it let you save it has a brighter file..i can brighten it up now when i watch it but i dont want to keep having to do it i want it to stay like that
