software to install first?

Just got a new laptop and performed a hdd wipe and a fresh install of Win7ultimate.

What software would you guys install first if you had to do it all over again?

I'm thinking:

Avast free
malwarebytes free
Hijackthis
zonealarm firewall free
ccleaner
defraggler

Anything that I'm missing?
 
i would drop zonealarm, windows own firewall is pretty good so its just loading a program you don`t really need.

as far as ccleaner, malbytes and defraggler, you could give the iobit range a try, they are all free and very good reviews i use them all and never had any problems, advanced systemcare for cleaning, malware fighter for malware/spyware, smart defrag for defragging

for disc burning you could try ashampoo burning studio, and if you do any media file conversion try format factory 2.70

For myself all i installed (in this order) was:

Bitdefender
Firefox
Steam
Orgin
variety of games
Microsoft Office
iTunes


I don't feel the need for CCleaner, malware detector or any of that. Never ran into a situation that this would be needed. I keep all my documents and such in folders on a different drive. As well as i don't feel the need to burn CD/DVD anymore. I use flash drives.
