Hi guys, i play games on my PC and i was wondering wot programs are out there so i can record gameplay and add commentaries to my vids. I know xfire can record vids, however the size of a 8 min clip would be something like a gig and i dont think ppl would want to download that to watch. Yeah this is probably a noob question so any help is much appreciated.

The videos are much bigger, about 6gig for 3 or 4 minutes, however, when you put them out, they aren't that big. Put them into Windows Movie Maker, or your choice of video editing software, and it makes it normal size (hundred mb or just less for 10 minutes vid) when you publish them.
You could try that with Xfire, I always had fraps so never saw the need to use it, except for once, but stopped almost immediately because it decided to eat up all of my resources and lag the crap out of my games
