Software used for VPN?

i have used hamachi before, i use that when me and my mates play minecraft,

Depends on what you're looking for. For my other university we use the Cisco VPN Client to log into the network.

I was thinking of it on a business scale, I seem to be traveling a lot nowadays. My main problem would be the scale of files needed to be shared.
