Software won't run after loading onto memory stick

I recently wiped out my hard drive because of slow operation and I wanted to reinstall malwarebites, ccleaner, defraggler, and microsoft fix it back on the computer. I figured it would be easier to load these programs into a memory stick from my daughter's computer than going to the sites and downloading them again, then just transfer them from the stick onto my computer. I did that, but the programs won't run. When I try to run them I keep getting messages saying things like program not found. Why won't they run?

You can't run programs like that. The only way to do what you want to do is actually download the install file to your flash drive and then run it on the computer to actually install the program. Most programs require registry entries and whatnot installed in order for the program to run, you just can't copy the program file to a flash drive and expect it to run.
