Hi,
I was thinking of using a 30 gig solid state harddrive for the windows,
And 1 terra bite harddrive for the games ect,
How much faster will windows be compaired to a normal harddrive,

I am still running windows XP,
Next time i upgrade it will be to windows 7.

Vista is under 30GB providing you disable system restore / hibernation etc

I heard Vista is only about 9GB. I was reading on those PCI interface solid state disks, you basically attach computer RAM to them and they act as a solid state disk for the OS. I've actually seen in a video, a solid state disk (at the least the one I saw) runs about as fast as 2 Velociraptors in RAID 0.
