I recently solved a problem that took some time to solve so hopefully this will help people in the future. I would open Itunes and my microsoft keyboard hot keys would not work. They worked in windows media player but not itunes. So I made sure Itunes was set to default and reinstalled my keyboard but nothing. Even tried to make some scripts. What it ended up being was right clicking itunes/ properties/ run as administrator. Why the hell are they making this so difficult. Like honestly, I have no other users set on my Windows 7 64 bit ultimate addition so of course I'm the administrator. So heres the solution, and a little rant.
Feel free to post a solution to riding myself of having to click off run as administrator on things like vent, itunes and diablo 2. However, don't be smug, windows should have made this easier and making me browse google is not easy.
