(SOLVED) Embarrassing problem, can't remove cpu cooler.

Installed the PCCOOLER S83 model cooler onto my H310-CM DVS Intel motherboard, after some trouble figuring out to latch it on. Well this is freaking impossible to remove, or at least it seems so. Taking off the bracket required a spoon to pull out the black locking pins (I put the bracket in facing the wrong direction first time), seriously how else would I have taken them out? Now I need to un-mount / unlatch only the cooler, but I can see no way of actually doing so. If I push the latch down with my finger, well it'll just go down, as soon as I let it comes right back up under the plastic ledge on the bracket and remain locked. If I push the latch in sideways on the other hand, it doesn't go far enough so that it will unlatch, so what in the blue world do I do?

Anyone with experience with latch / hook type coolers should be able to shed some light here.

You have to push down and use something to pull the latch away so it doesn't engage.

Impossible, there is no tool that I can even think of that can hook into that thing. I've already tried using my fingers, I can get it almost off but it's still on the edge a little because when I pull that much the other side latch stops it from going any further. This is the most ridiculous computer problem I've ever had, and boy do I regret buying this cooler, I am screwed :(

If you can't get it, you'll need to have someone who does computers help you. But basically, thats all needs to be done is push down and move the clip over so that when you release, it doesn't engage again. Some of the AMD coolers are like that. You might even be able to push from the other side to give it some more slack.

My cousin (techspert) got it off. The trick is to push down on the mounting bracket and at the same time flip the buckle so it doesn't engage. So happy now :)
