For the first few weeks on my new comp, I have been able to use external speakers / head phones without a hitch but now they just plain don't work. I plug something into the computer front panel output jack, and nada, Windows still uses my monitors (low end) speakers. I can hear the associated static you get you when plugging in a device, so the jack is fine. Any suggestions??
