Some DVDs work, some don't

I have the Simpsons 4th season. One DVD will work, next one won't. Even the one that worked once won't the next time. It sounds like it's just spinning. Can someone help me?

Yes, sorry. The pc is a HP, and a couple years old. I have other dvds, movies that occasionally won't run also. Help!
