Some help plz, monitor flashes black when I righ click??

OK so I have this problem, it goes something like this ... when i right click on a file my whole screen flashes black for like a second and then goes back to normal its really annoying also happens when i press ctrl C X and a few other ones but only when im copying files.??

the flash of black is the same type as when ur adjusting your monitor.
 
You overclocking? All kinds of stuff go wrong when you overclock, so if you are, revert back to the stock frequency and see if the problem persists.
 
... I put it back to stock speed and its still does the same thing. I had the same problem with my last computer which i never overclocked.. this is a competely differnt setup so .. i donno y it would keep doing it ... could it be the monitor ???? its really strange .. it was so strange thats y i decided to post it now..

old setup

A8n32 sli deluxe
AMD 64 x2 4800+
1 gig of duel channel ram
7600gt

new setup

P5w dh deluxe
Intel core 2 duo E6400
1 gig of ram
7900gtx
 
If you were using the same monitor for both machines, then there is a good chance that its your monitor, but if you have another monitor, give that a try to eliminate your graphics card.
 
graphics card something could have short circuited or maybe the conection for your monitor somethin happened...so just check those and try changin your monitor and at most ur graphics card
 
If its not your graphics card, then there is a good chance its your monitor then. You can test this by connecting up another monitor to your computer to see if that replicates the problem, if it doesn't then your monitor is dying.
