StrangleHold Moderator Staff member Aug 20, 2007 #23 Its just odd, My nForce 4 and 590 both call them Sata ATA Generation 2. DMA is kinda slow, my IDE DVD-rom and DVD burner run in UDMA mode. UDMA 5 is the same thing as ATA/100. Think plain DMA mode is ATA/33 Last edited: Aug 20, 2007
