Ya, Thats what I thought. I ran the scan, saw tons of viruses, and desided to get it. Oh what a horrable mistake. I guess you could potentialy be fine if your only using the online one. But dont download it.

Apparently you learned their tricks to sell the hard way. Upon looking over an extended list of spyware removers like Spy Spotter, Spyware Blaster, and some other "gimics" one common thing is being told that your system is loaded with some real bad things and you "must buy" the full version. Spy Spotter itself is best likened to a trojan downloader. Spyware Blaster was just removed when it kept trying to run the Roxio installer. These are some other items to watch out for. Here's a few system friendly freewares to consider.
Lavasoft's AdAware SE Personal http://www.lavasoft.com
Grisoft's AVG 7.1 Free Edition http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5
Windows Defender beta 2 http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
Spybot Search + Destroy along with several others including Spyware Blaster can be looked over at: http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads31.html So far Spybot Search + Destroy gets a favorable review.
