Some problems with a built PC

My girlfriends PC is built by her mom and it has some problems. The computer will randomly restart. There is no warning or screen that it jumps too before it happens. Just out of nowhere restarts. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Thanks
 
Possibly overheating. Did it just start ? Are you just browsing on the net or using a intense program when it does ?

Tell us what your temps are.
 
well she does just use it for web browsing, she did alot of music downloading but hasnt recently but the music is still on the HD. It will just restart randomly while running an app. or just idleing. It has been doing it for months now but has move from once every few days to a few times a day. Im not sure of the temps, its more of a budget pc. but if it helps the exhaust fan is blowing cool air. I am a beginner with built pc's so im not sure about these things. Thanks
