some random problem

Hi, my computer has a problem. When I turn my computer on, my monitor does not get a signal. I have tried a different monitor which didn't help. Next I will be trying a different graphics card. Also there was a short power outage which made it turn off and It hasn't worked since. All my electronics use surge protectors. Any ideas if switching graphics cards doesn't help?
 
If your computer has onboard video, try plugging your monitor into that. If it works, then install the drivers for the graphics card then try it.
