Well...my plan was Ubuntu 10.04, but I cannot get the video drivers working to where I can set my resolution to 1080p. That's a deal breaker for me.
I don't see my driver issue going any better with Super OS, considering it's basically 10.04.
Elementary OS looks interesting. I like that it uses GNOME 2, but the information is a bit vague.
Pinguy, besides their redundant description, has also sparked my interest.
And Pane-free, I'm not really looking for a perfect install. I don't mind taking the time to manually set things up to get it running. It's just, if there is an issue, like no sound, I'd like to be able Google the OS + no sound, and find an actual solution, instead of piecing one together from 10 different sources.
Edit: Well forget Pinguy, I can't even get the liveCD to boot in a VM.
