I'm copying and pasting the post I put on www.pc-clever.com there doesn't seem to be anyone replying there. Plus it's a bit to be re-writing. Anyways, read this, I just HOPE someone will know what to do...

Hey everyone. First I should make an introduction of who I am. My name's Dena, I'm from Tennessee, USA. 18 years old. Nice to meetcha.....anyways, I found this website and thought SOMEONE could help me out. Surely somebody on here is VERY computer smart, and THAT'S what I'm looking for. Why? Because someone I know is hacking into my computer. They leave me messages and name off things to me. Well, c'mon. I REALLY don't know what I can do about it. I need someone on here to tell me if there's some kind of blocking program I could use or what to block him. Please...I need someone's help. BADLY. This is driving me crazy!! I REALLY hope that someone will be able to help me stop this. Well, write back!!

Yea, what you need is a firewall. It will stop all internet traffic from going in and out of your computer, unless it has your permission. If someones trying to get into your computer, and box in the bottom right hand corner shoudl pop up. Infact it will do this for all programs that need internet acces ie MSN messenger. If you recognise the program name, then allow it access, if you dont, deny it access

Tummypony,

Thanks for that advice. I'll try and do that because I REALLY dunno what to do. He even says he's gonna shut-down my IP address. Is that even possible? Thanks for the help. I REALLY appreciate it!! Oh, and no. I'm not using a wireless connection. I'm using a dial-up modem.

elmacorulz,

Thanks for your help as well. I do have a firewall. Enabled too. It came with my windows XP programming. But still....I had figured that would've blocked him...obviously it seems it didn't...

Dena, if you are using Dial up acccess I would change my password and user name. Your "friend" is logging into your account.

The firewall with xp is not very good at all.

Tummypony,

I use tds.net as my dial-up account. So, anyways, Hopefully I'll be able to change that easily. Also, I done one of those spyware scans on that zonealarm site and it seems I STILL have some spyware too. I used to have spyware, but when I used webroot spysweeper (free trial version) it took off the icon from my start-menu tray....so I thought that was gone too...obviously not. Anyways, I doubt there's anything I'll be able to do to stop this becuase obviously it's gonna cost money. And money is one thing I assure you my grandparents don't have. But I'll see what I can do. Thank you all SO much, and still, anyone else with more advice on this...lemme know!! Thanks!!

elmacorulz,

.....Oh. It's not....well that's no good. I dunno....I don't know a whole lot about computers and it was a total SHOCKER when I found out he had been hacking into my computer. And he still is too.

elmacorilz,
I'm downloading that now. Have been for the past few minutes. It's 47% complete. Thanks for the link though elmacorulz. I appreciate it more than you people prolly think.

You said you know who is getting into your computer? May I politely suggest you speak with your"friend" and suggest that this practice stops immediately. If it doesn't ,post back, and alternate plan "b" may have to be implemented. You can probably tell by the tone of this message how I feel about people that do these things...

Great advice Greggie boy. Whatever your "friend" is doing is not right, it sounds threatening aswell. I hope you get your problem fixed without having to involve the pol... I mean plan '"b".
