I posted this in another thread, but am not getting any help...
I just very recently purchased an ATI Radeon 7000 64 MB AGP Video card. My PC is a sony vio PCV-RX540 with a 1.20 GHz Intel Celeron Processer, 256 MB PC-133 SDRAM, windows XP. It is a few years old. My reason for getting the video card was to be order to hook my TV up as a monitor. Well, my quest was successful...at least I thought...
Things are great with my monitor for awhile (both primary and secondary monitor), however after awhile, my screen gets all screwed up and gets a red tint to it, with a red "flickering" type action. I also get a red box around my cursor. It stays this way untill I restart my comptuer. My monitor will be fine again, for awhile, and then do the same thing all over again. It seems to be doing it more frequently now.
In my other post, someone wanted to know what drivers I was running. I posted back saying that i wasn't smart enough to find that out, and never got any reply. He recommended I try updating my drivers, so I went to the website, and I THINK I have updated my drivers, if did infact download the right thing. Since trying to respond to the guy, 2 days later I still have no response, and my headache grows more every second I have to restart my computer.
Help would be GREATLY appreciated.
