someone please help....

I know of some memory that might work, a bit less expensive if you are interested????

The price seen on the WINTEC memory is about the lowest seen unless you go with a generic label. The average for Apple is $120 everwhere except EBay or maybe Amazon.

Yes, I can check on 1GB for him...

If you can top newegg's price on a good brand that would be even better. Sometimes they can gat a little high on prices. I picked up a pair of 1gb Kingston DDR400 Value Ram dimms last year for less then the 1gb of WINTEC DDR266 seen there.

SuperTalent has been valuable in price, and is good memory!

Never had a problem with any of it. Very reliable!

STT D266 1GB/64X8 CL2.5 16CH Memory (PC and Mac G5) $79.99

STT D333 1GB/64X8 CL2.5 16CH Memory (PC and Mac G5) $79.99

STT D400 1GB/64X8 CL2.5 16CH Memory (PC and Mac G5) $89.99

The only other manufacture I know of that will work on a Mac G5 system or PC. Not to say that WINTEC isn't any less or more, it's just another option.

It's their website, just an option if one would like to compare. But, yes... all others can easily do as well.

Samsung, Kingston, AENEON, Spectek, Micron, and Elixir, not to mention A-Pacer. Just to name a few. NewEgg is selling only internet, they don't have a store front or local access to buy. But, it's an option... Just my 2 cents.
:P
