Someone using my serial?

Hi,

I was playing Call of duty multiplayer this morning and it was fine.

However when i try to connect to a server now i get this message...

Does this mean someone else is using my own genuine game serial?

So i left it about 1 hour because it said try again later but its still the same ;(
 
The last time you played did you exit all the way I have had this problem where i was dropped or the server thought i was still on because i didn't exit all the way and then after about a day or so it will realize I'm not on there and it will drop me but also one time i simply restarted and it severed the connection because it let me right back on the next time i tried.

Possibly, it thinks so anyway. Like others have asked, did you lend the game to a friend? Or possibly codeman0013 has the right idea... sounds like something that could happen.
 
Hi all,

No lol i havnt lent the game out to no-one.

I just uninstaled and re-instaled the game again advised by Call of duty forums and it worked.

:D

Dunno what exactly was causing the problem but its fixed now.

Make sure you also don't ever install some 3rd party software... Very common way for people to have their keys stolen...
