something goes really wrong with OUTLOOK.COM lately

sending mails from outlook.com to other outlook.com account fails, sometimes the first attempt is doing good but then all other messages are getting lost.
not junk folder, no error messages.
Does someone here has outlook.com account?

I just tried sending an email to myself at outlook.com and the email shows up in the Sent Items folder but not in either the Inbox or Junk folders. I also tried the same thing using my Thunderbird email client and it worked so looks like there could be an issue with the outlook.com website.
