i was trying to play bf2 the other day and it wasnt working. it does the same thing it would so if the graphics card wasnt good enough.... the screen pops up and then goes back to your desktop. i re installed bf2 and the same thing happened. what could be rong. also i was playing counter strike game and the guns looked out of place. the were like bending out and all distorted. what could be rong? i have a x850 pro agp. i have a 7800gt sitting on my desk waiting to go in but i have to wait for my pci x motherboard. im just wondering why this isnt playing?
 
leave it for at least a day before you go bumping for an answer.

its possible that you have out dated drivers. also, if your graphics card or processor is overclocked or are running too hot that errors may be occurring that aren't enough to crash the system but are screwing with games etc.

is your system overclocked and what are your system's temperatures?
 
is there a program to see the temps b.c my wireless keyboard doesnt turn on until the windows screen pops up and that meens i cant press the ctrl + h to get into my bios. duno why it would be over heating... i got 1 120 mm fan.... 2 80mm... my processor heatsink and fan and then my psu fan...
 
try looking for everest home edition, your graphics card temps should be in the control panel applet for your card
 
nothing wrong with the temperatures... i would have to say update your motherboard and graphics drivers.
other than that i cant think of anything else
