 yeah, now that im a forum member i will be putting some ideas here-im an avid music listener so good sound is important, thats why i have thought of a something that would be really cool to have,~~if it hasn't already been invented, if it has can you please tell me where to get it~~well i would be something that changes the equalizer settings for the music. i have a wide veritey of music so destinct sound is a must*-make each song have a equalizer setting and when it gets played have the equalizer change the settings for that song- from an automatic setup or a custom one- thats it:)

If anyone else has any ides to improve of this idea or to add to it please feel free to add:D

If you have any ideas for software you would like to see created add here.
hey this could be a new business---"""ask for the software you want"""we will build it""":)

pass it to Microsoft

i would say have the USER define the settings for each song he/she wants, then save those settings. that way next time you play it the player recognizes your previous settings. im sure some players do this...but i dunno whta they are called.

no one is ever going to think one preset is as good as another for the same song...so it's GOT to be adjustable by the user.

well sure thats why i put custom, but allot of songs cant be manualy preset it takes to long, genres almost dictate the EQ settings but not for sure.

it's be more on the artists then, to distinguish there genre and tell the people who make the CD's. they could hardcode presets in there...but then there is the question of what kind of player the CD will use. A car steres system form SONY? a PC computer with WMP 10? maybe some other software? it would have to be comaptible with all kinds of players...i think that would be hard to do.

but yah that would be kool...get the best sound out of your speakers without tinkering with audio levels and the bass and what not.
