hes taking it in to have it looked at.o
o, yea well even if there was no competiton, Nintendo still had a great run. But after playing PSP for 3 days staight, I have come to the conclusion that Nintendo is about to bite the big one. With the at home console departement fading, and now the PSP about to kill the DS, Nintendo might about roll over and die. After playing it, I have found that:
-The screen is the absolute most beutiful thing i've ever seen(portable wise)
-The graphics are on par with the dreamcast, but probably better tech wise
-The system itself is absolutely stunning
-The movie playback is unbelieveble
-The sound effects puts DS to
-The controls take about 10 seconds to get used to
I STILL HIGHLY RECCOMEND IT!!! 10/10!!!

and i think the speck of dust is a dead pixel, as they have already had issues with reports of dead-pixeled systems. DS had the same problem with a few systems.
psp is gonna flop. Rather than give good game quality (good games, not good graphics) they have gone full blown technology. The battery life sucks. Part of the reason nintendo has done such a good job in remaining the handheld champions is because of battery life and price. When gameboy first came out we had 3d color handheld consoles but both flopped because they had no battery life, and console/games were over priced.
I do not need to watch a movie on a puny ass screen. I am never going to need a portable dvd player that plays mini disc dvd's so i will have to rebuy all my current ones. On top of that when am i going to use it. I cannot watch a movie at work, Or while driving in the car, if i am in my room a i have a dvd palyer and a computer. Etc etc. Also i am not going to waste all my batteries just to watch one movie.
Playstation games outside of square enix have never been anything impressive, (they ruined mega man). They have good games outside sqaure but not too many great ones. So as far as a handheld system games. Eh.
My guess is psp is oging to be like xbox, gonna make money but it aint gonna be anything special, not gonna have great games and hopefully sony learns and develops a better next gen handheld system. And hopefully microsoft learned and put time into game quality not technology on their next gen system.

uhhh.... yea, no good games for PS2 right jman? I'll just shut my mouth and let Metal Gear, Grand theft auto, Gran Turismo, Madden, MVP, Final Fantasy, Need for Speed, Timesplitters, and Burnout do the talking for me. Since PSP is gonna have ports of just about all those games, as well as a bunch of new add ons to the series, I wouldn't say games are gonna be in short supply. Also, if you know anything about the system(oh yea, u don't ur just jelous that you don't have one), you know that the screen is infact very large, crystal clear, and very bright which is great for watching movies. And the battery life not going to be an issue soon due too the fact that the developers are making games that don't stream from the optical drive. DOing this can extend the battery life up to six hours. Add another battery, and you have twelve hours of battery life. IF anyone plays that long on a regular bases, you better stop the games and get a life!!!. And the price will always go down.

I have played the system, i don't like the system, if i don't like ps1 or ps2 other than the square enix games. Why the hell would i like a portable system.

sport and racing games i don't like, way too repetitive. Final fantasy yeah good games, like i sadi in previous posts, sony has square enix and that is their big developer along with the boring sport games.
Grand theft auto, mainly a game for people who laugh at the word penis everytime it is mentioned. Most people who buy it, buy because oh boy i can hire a hooker and kill her. Not everyone but msot people who buy it (middle school and high school kids, parents never pay attention to the ratings hardly ever).
Timesplitters, its on every system.
Metal Gear, i don't like it, bores the hell out of me. You like that kinda game yay.
If i am going to play racing games, time splitters, final fantasy, GTA i don't wanna play it on a low battery lifed portable system. Most people have a job and/or are in school/college. Most people when they are in a car are driving or talking (not wanting to play a portable system).
When i have a gamecube, ps2, ps1, snes, nes, n64 in my room. I am not gonna play same game (with minor differences) on a portable device.
One thing Sony likes to do is rehash console games onto the portable. If i am going to buy a portable i want it to at least be unique, even then i am not going to play it that much. A lot of people like these thigns jsut ebcause htey are amazed at what a small thing can do. Games like pokemon, and the gameboy zelda games revolve around a small interface with small graphics. The gameboy zelda's will nto work in a 3d environment.
So yeah i don't like PSP so sue me. I am not a big fan of playstation. Capcom had to destroy megaman when they went to sony because sony forced them to change mega man. Final Fantasy series, still good, but the best ones were on snes (maybe it is just the unique graphic style of the snes that does it) but the rest of the ff series was alright. I personally think 8 sucked balls. FF7 and tactics were the only ones ranked up in the really good section for me. 10 had potential but got way to tedious/repetitive for me after a while. I just didn't have enough of a connection with the characters.
So nope i don't like psp. Not gonna waste the money. The extra features like the movie playing is pointless as previously explained. And battery life makes it cost way too much money. I already am paying money for the system and games, i don't want cheap battery life costing more money/time.
I am not big on console games to portable. most people who are older than 16 don't have the "portable oppurtunities" to use the system. And i am definitely not paying a price that cost more/equal the amount of my console system for a puny portable.

o jman my bad, i assumed you had never played psp before and were jsut a stupid fanboy. I those guys who assume that a system is bad because its the main compeditor of their fav. system. I don't like GTA either, I was jsut naming some of sonys flagship franchises. And I meant the entire franchise, not just metal gear, but metal gear 2 SOL, and Metal gear 3. My bad.
