I bought this Trinitron about 10 years ago in 1998. It has been the best monitor I've ever used. However quite recently, I hooked it up to a new computer I'd just built. However just when I had sat down and was about to start doing some 3D animation work, the screen went black and the light next to the power button started flashing green so I turned the Trinitron off and on. It didn't turn back on so I turned off the computer. I tried again to turn the Trinitron off and on. I got the same result. However with the computer off (which has an extremely loud fan) I could hear a faint ticking noise. So I opened it up and took the D board out. I couldn't find anything wrong with the board so I put it back. I've also replaced the fuse (since it's a component that can break sometimes) with no success.
Is there any solution for this because I know that Sony doesn't sell Trinitrons anymore and I don't want to replace it because I really like the Trinitron.
