Sony vaio wireless mouse

Hey all
when i brought my laptop i got a wireless optical mouse all i had to do was when i got it was turn it on and press a button underneath the laptop thrn whenever i turned it on after it would connect but i lost it when i was out at a hotel, my question is will i be able to bu y another optical mouse turn it on, press the button underneath and will it connect from then on? want to make sure coz i dont want to have to use a dongle,

the only way to be sure of it working with whatever you have internally is to get a replacement frm sony (expensive most likely). You can get an optical wireless mouse with whatever the thing is that receives the signal that plugs into a usb port (hope that makes sense, poor grammar) for probably less than $40.

wireless computer accessories is waste of money. I bet everybody uses wired mouse.

as long as you get a mouse that is the same frequency, it will work.
