How do you former-November-17th-PS3-soon-to-be-owner-Europeans feel about it?
How do North Americans and Japanese feel about it and how will it affect you?

I feel that a lot of european gamers will be so upset that they'll go for other consoles instead of waiting 4 months, past Christmas, for its release while North America and Japan are all-happy-going-at-it-non-stop.
In my case, I'm a Playstation Fanboy, not Sony Fanboy, a Playstation Fanboy so I would wait. But why am I a fanboy? Because I love their free online play policy, their great 3rd and 1st party games, and most importantly, they are giving us an amazing machine with incredible power which is in no way comparable to other next gen consoles and blue ray players out there.

I'm very happy that we are still getting our PS3s on November 17th in North America, but I do feel very bad for everyone else who's having to wait until March 2007. I hope the best for you and wish you not to fall into temptation.
 
Let's not forget that the US is only getting 400,000 units on launch day and Japan is only getting 100,000. No idea when the next shipments will arrive. I'll get a PS3 once they drop the price by at least $100, that'll also give them time to work out the bugs in the first batch.
 
Early, on time, or late, they aren't getting my money :P Hehe, I'm just not much of a consoler... Used to be, and slowly converting back over, but I don't think I'll ever be as much of one as I was pre 2000 or so...
 
O well, hopefully by the time its realeased its all bug free! But they won't get my money where i stand now, but maybe when it comes out it will blow my pants off :rolleyes:. Who knows?
 
I always prefered PS over Xbox, but with that huge price tag; My thoughts of ever getting it is beginning to disappear. If I really do get it, I am waiting for it to come out and see how the experience from owners go. If there isn't much difference from the 3 and the 360, than if I ever do intend to get one, it'll probably be the 360.

But if the notice is substantial.. my vote is still "Hey! Too Bad! Sony IS NOT getting my money now!" for now. The price is doesnt fit into my paycheck even if I save for a year.
 
I have a PS2 and love it, but the PS3 has too many questions surrounding it for me to get one, at least right away. The next-gen Nintendo system is looking better and better all the time... Oh, and Microsoft will get my money when I'm dead and no longer breathing...

I'll go for an Xbox 360, as soon as Halo 3 is going to be released :)
call me stupid.. but im really a scifi fan, and that game puts the xbox over the ps3 for me ^^

:o suprised someone know's the game. but yes,.. i like Ony and halo quite much.. the Bungy games i played so far.. well, they were just finished,.. you knw, complete :) and thats really noticeable in the gameplay

besides.. cant wait for the PS3 to be released.. then the 360 will most likely drop in price again :)

I'm sorry to say this but I'll be honest in my questioning and please don't take it as sarcasm or an insult:

Everytime I hear anything about games for Microsoft's Platform, all I hear is Halo this, Halo that, and Halo here... basically, everyone waits for Halo.

Is that the only game everyone waits for? After that, then what?
 
That's why I never got an XBox, it seemed like that was the only one worth playing. While on my PS2 there was Gran Turismo, Twisted Metal, Jakk and Dexter and a few other proprietary games that way outweighed XBox for me... Plus, the only time I liked playing Halo was with other people who owned the XBox anyway... :D
