i would invest in another 512Mb of ram and maybe a new Gfx card for it to run nicely.

yeah the video card will really help, you will get it up and running on 128, but you should really get a 256 or 512 card

This would be so much easer, if my dad would buy home basic, while i get premium, but he's very cheap.
