Alright, guys! This is the first computer forum to show up in google, so this is the one I chose. I have no idea if this was mentioned before, or if this is even the right forum. Please don't flame me because I'm not going to lie to you. I am SO clueless when it comes down to computers, but I'm am posting here hoping that this community is nice enough to help me with my problem.

I have been play WoW for two years, and just recently I have been having this really bad lag. It's not because of my server, or my connection, it's visual. If I play for a certain period of time, everything starts to lag, but the lag is fixed when I exit the game and reload it. One of my friends said something about a 'memory leak'? but he wasn't sure himself. I just bought my new computer in the summer. I think I paid a little too much for what it is, would I have to upgrade to fix this?

P.S. I'm not using Vista.

need to give us a run down of your specs first, could you let us know your CPU, Motherboard, Memory, Graphics card etc.

If your not sure how then google for CPUz, download and run and it will give the info on the various tabs.

Or if you still have the receipt for it then the specs should be listed there

:)

I told you I wasn't going to lie about being clueless... I know nothing at all about computers. From what I see there are six tabs, which are the ones you would like to see? and would you like to see everything under let's say.. memory? or just certain things?

You're going to have to baby me though this! XD

Thanks for your patience >_>

Edit: http://img107.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dxdiagqd2.jpg - This is what my friend asked to see. I don't know if this helps you at all, but I figured it might be worth a shot.

Ok, If you right click on "My Computer" and select properties, You should get a dialog box with some info on the bottom. That info would also be helpful.

The stuff in the red square.

slowdowns could also be lack of memory, having too many programs installed/running at the same time or due to the hard drive being full.

My friend did numerous searches for me across the WoW forums. (Seeing as how I know nothing) and he found that other have the same problem as this, but he couldn't find anything helpful. I didn't think this problem was due to WoW. I assumed that it would be my computer. WoW was just my example/proving that I am having troubles. I was hoping to fix this by fixing my computer.
