Sort Excell Data in Addresses

Hi,

I have extracted client information I obtain and the information is presented in a massive list, row by row. I have over 300 names, addresses and phone numbers and what I'm looking to do is compile the information into a more organized table in Excel to begin with so that it's setup right for a process in the future with Outlook and Access.

I have the list on Excel all in the one coloum
NAME
NUMBER
ADDRESS
NAME
NUMBER
ADDRESS
ETC

I'd like to get the information into separate coloums of Name, Address, Number in a table row like fashion.

But how could I possibly do that?

A very long winded way would be to sit and hit CTRL and click all the names then copy. But Excell is very fishy when it comes to multiple selections.

Any tips?

Thanks!

Can you be a bit more specific on what you want? Can you post an image maybe? I use Excel a decent amount but don't understand what you want.

Is there any sort of delimiter between fields? Otherwise you'll have to manually parse it out.

I found a way!! Yeha!

Cleaned the file up using notepad+

Then copied to excell again and In B1 enter this formula
=INDEX($A:$A,(ROWS($1:1)-1)*5+COLUMNS($A:B)-1)
