Please help me!
I have XP Professional 2002 SP2, Pentium Dual-Core E5400 270 GHz 1 GB RAM. I have tried n numbers of times to format and reinstall the OS but to no avail. It still (and has always) performed like a SNAIL. I have a ASUS motherboard, newly installed Processor, just to up the speed a bit. BUT NO. Nothing Happened. Could it be because I have a 90 GB Hard Drive that's old. I mean it's aged. Could it be the Hard Drive. Please! Someone help me bump my speed. It takes ages to start and to run the simplest of the programs and windows. By the way, no Viruses. I have Avast installed and that keeps me clean from that stuff.
