Sound Blaster live PCI not detected

I bought a used SB card but when i installed it and turn the pc on is'nt being detected is there anything i can do to test this?

Thx for the help the prob was a bad SB card the gold film on the contacts were missing. Thats what i get for not thoroughly inspecting a used card. I do have a question though. On the SB live card i see AUX_IN, CD_in, TAD, and CD_SPDIF out on the card the only one i should worry about connecting to the card is the CD_IN correct?

Yeah, although you dont really need this feature as nowadays the audio info is transmitted via the IDE cable
