Hi. I'm having serious sound problems: it simply doesn't work. I can't hear anything. I reinstalled my audio driver, I checked all the settings, if everything is
put correctly, I even formated my PC but no solution. I really can't solve this and I would really appreciate if you can give me some advices. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to CF, first off whats the spec of your PC and what OS are you using. Also when did this problem occur? Have you tried having a look on the net for the latest drivers?

Yeah, I forgot to say hello to everybody. I'm glad that I am in this community and I hope me and you all can make a great team.

Now back to the subject: I put all the information about my PC down here so now you can take a look and see whats going on. Also maybe you can give me an advice of what driver should I use. I'm still a newbie :P .And of course, thanks!:)

I simply can't hear anything. My sound doesn't work. I tried a various verifications and reinstalling drivers but still no result. I also tried to change the speakers. I don't know what else to try.

i had an ASROCK mobo that simply one day stopped producing sound, after a quick diagnosis it turned out that the sound on the mobo had malfunctioned(hardware) and it wasn't a software problem at all. The way i got around it was to install a PCI sound card and then it was fine. Not exactly a fix but a definate successful workaround :)

Have you checked in "add new hardware"? Well, I got two valuable experience about sound:
(1) The driver is installed but not appropriate (marked by yellow question mark)
(2) I put the jack of the loudspeaker to the wrong hole of the soundcard.

Sorry if this is too dumb, I just want to share my experience, what makes me learning thru times to get better hihi :o
